Dedications
Valentines Day is looming and as well as being in the air, love is on the benches. Messages left on these wooden loveseats aren't always poetic or even heartfelt (to Barb, from Bob), but occasionally you'll stumble across plaques that are genuine, loving and that bring out the romantic in you. I recommend bench browsing when feeling in need of a cheer up.

Let the chaos begin.
The UK doesn't handle snow very well. In fact, it allows itself to be buried underneath the pretty white flakes. Roads come to a skidded halt, public transport goes cold, and everyone gets out their thermals. It's a major inconvenience.
But it's so pretty!

In another attempt to enjoy London, I took to Notting Hill. Portobello Market is internationally known for its antiques, vintage stalls and bric-a-brac. On a sunny day, it's also a beautiful backdrop for some fun photos. Nearby is Holland Park; as well as being one of the wealthiest areas of London (I peeked in an estate agents and saw a nice little apartment going for £30,000,000) it's also the park that I pretty much grew up in (not that I lived anywhere near the £30million apartments, sadly.) It was lovely to go back and see it from a slightly higher viewpoint, and through a lens.

Santa Baby
Just because I don't have a Christmas tree in my bedroom, doesn't mean I couldn't get creative with my decorating. This year my mannequin has replaced a tree, and is serving her part at Christmas...all be it slightly provocatively.
